This 19th century Antique Victorian Horner style ornate carved sideboard is a true treasure built in 1890’s.
The level of detail and craftsmanship is remarkable. The stunning carvings of gargoyles and griffins, surrounded by gold gilded acanthus leafs are extremely rare to find on other antiques from that period, and make this item truly stand out. The three dovetail drawers, freshly lined with velvet, provide ample storage space. The two side cabinet doors open to reveal fixed interior shelving, while the middle cabinet opens up to a large storage space. The use of beveled panels and pivot door hinges showcases the amazing craftsmanship of this sideboard. Additionally, all doors and two drawers are equipped with working locks, with the key included. The top of the sideboard is in excellent condition, the base shows minor signs of age and use. This item is in very good antique condition and is an original piece, not a later reproduction.
